Standard HDPE shade sail fabric is porous, which allows hot air to escape easily. However, this also means it is not fully waterproof. Therefore, if you need rain protection, we strongly recommend our PVC or PVDF membrane options.
Our commercial-grade fabrics come with a 10-year warranty against UV degradation. Furthermore, with proper maintenance, they often last 15 years or more, even in the harsh UAE climate.
