Conical tensile shade installation involves erecting a central compression mast and installing radial cables from the mast head to perimeter anchorage points. The conical membrane is then attached to the mast ring at the apex and to the perimeter edge cable at the base. Radial cables are progressively tensioned to the design tension levels. Throughout tensioning, our engineer checks the conical rise and perimeter geometry. This confirms the membrane forms the correct shape as required.
